Bareilly: The Indian Veterinary Research Institute (IVRI), Izatnagar, showcased its latest vaccine technologies and innovations in animal health at the 10th ASEAN-India Agriculture Working Group Meeting held in New Delhi.
Through a technology exhibition, IVRI highlighted its contributions to preventing animal diseases, improving livestock health and promoting sustainable livestock production. The institute’s innovations were presented as part of India’s efforts to strengthen cooperation with ASEAN countries in agriculture and allied sectors.

The meeting was organised on September 8, 2026, by the Department of Agricultural Research and Education (DARE), Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Government of India. It was attended by 45 representatives from 11 ASEAN member countries.

The meeting was co-chaired by DARE Secretary and ICAR Director General Dr M.L. Jat from India and representatives of the Philippines, which holds the ASEAN chair.
Discussions covered ongoing cooperation, capacity building, climate-resilient agriculture, research and innovation, and sustainable, inclusive and future-ready agricultural technologies.
